Description:
This is an internal function of viewDistance. It changes the syncronization mode based on a listbox control.
This is an internal function. This means that the function is called by another function and should not be called manually.

Parameters:
mode: Number - The syncronization mode to select
variableString: String - The variable to write to
textbox: Control - The textbox to write changes to
slider: Control - The slider to get the sync percentage from
sliderTextbox: Control - The slider textbox to write changes to
